A porphyrin‐based porous organic polymer containing flexible chains for efficient heterogeneous photocatalysis

Porphyrin‐based porous organic polymers (Por‐POPs) are attracting increasing attention because of their potential in visible light photocatalysis. The distinctive attributes Por‐POPs have been elucidated by investigating response to specific reactions, such as the aerobic oxidation sulfides. However, most researchers choose porphyrin molecules with relatively short peripheral substituent chains and strong stiffness construct porphyrin‐based materials, especially Por‐POPS. Herein, we designed prepared a flexible POP material H 2 Pp‐TAPM incorporating extra π‐conjugated rigid units TAPM into monomer Pp through imine linkages. synthesized this study has demonstrated ability facilitate transfer dissociation photogenerated electron–hole pairs, leading production singlet oxygen 1 O superoxide radical anions ˙ − . These act effective mediators for selective sulfides, resulting conversion 99% selectivity more than 99%. Furthermore, excellent stability recyclability, indicating its attractiveness heterogeneous photocatalyst transformation compounds. This makes it promising candidate visible‐light‐driven reactions.
